Many Doctors of Chiropractic I encounter see the potential of Chiropractic internet marketing. They can see the benefit of social media, even if they don’t fully understand how to promote their practice with it.
Most of these same D.C.’s start their Chiropractic web marketing with great eagerness, only to give up as quickly as they started.
Why?
Usually it’s frustration and a general sense of feeling overwhelmed.
Like anything else new, learning the basics of Chiropractic internet marketing can be difficult because it’s time consuming. There is a bit of a learning curve and it all requires a great deal of time. Many Doctors jump in with both feet and quickly become burned out and overwhelmed will all of the work required.
Signing up for accounts, creating profiles, writing content, designing layouts, writing and submitting articles, updating blogs, and cross promoting everything is just the tip of the iceberg. To avoid Chiropractic web marketing burnout I’d like to introduce you to the concept of something I like to call “quarter hour power”. What is quarter hour power? It’s a cheesy name for a very basic concept.
Rather than focusing on doing everything at once and spending hours in front of a computer at every session, break your chiropractic social media and internet marketing down into small manageable tasks completable in 15 minute periods. Aim to complete at least one quarter hour power session every single day.
I’m confident this will make your job much easier and more enjoyable. Sneaking in 15 minutes is much easier than devoting hours at a time. Once you become comfortable with using various social media sites your productivity will increase. You’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish in a 15 minute period.
Of course the more time and effort you can invest in your chiropractic internet marketing the better. A daily 15 minute period is the bare minimum. You’ll soon realize working in several 15 minute internet marketing sessions throughout your day is not as difficult as you would think. I generally head to the office a little early which allows me to start the day with a quarter hour power session. Sneaking in another one or two during lunch is often possible as well. You’ll soon be finding time at home and on vacation to work in a quick session.
The main objective is simply to keep yourself focused and do something every day to promote your chiropractic practice via the internet. Although chiropractic social media and internet marketing can be overwhelming at first, you can manage many of the tasks yourself with the right approach. Do you recall your first few weeks of Chiropractic college? Managing all those classes and the flood of information required a period of adjustment. Chiropractic web marketing is no different. With dedication and time management you can avoid being overwhelmed and the associated chiropractic web marketing burnout.
